Lufthansa Business Class

Because of the company's policy, every staff has to use the Lufthansa Airline to Germany.

We had to give up using the Northwest Airline this time. And the business class' price of Lufthansa is twice than the other airlines. If Daddy gives up the business class, the company will give Daddy two economic tickets instead.

Daddy gave up the business class to get two economic class tickets. We left on 31st of May, 2009 heading to the airport in Charlotte.

When we are checking in, the lady at Lufthansa counter offered upgrading mommy's ticket to business class. The reason is because of we have enough milage, mommy can upgrade her seat.

Daddy flew the business class and mommy flew economic all the time before. Only when bringing these two girls back to the U.S., Mommy flew business class with Daddy.

Today, the table finally turns! Mommy got her seat upgraded! Then, of course, Nina flew the business class again with mommy. Nina is a really lucky dog.

The business class service is similar between Lufthansa Air and Northwest Air. After got on the plane, you will have a glass of drink. Mommy chose a glass of Champagne.

After put Nina in front of mommy's seat, mommy started to play the equipment of the seat. ^^

The seat can be totally flat. You can sleep on it as a bed. Because of Nina is on the way, Mommy's seat could not be all way flat. But later, the next person's seat can not work normally, the flight attendant changed him to another seat...So Nina got her own seat now. ^^ Mommy could lay down her seat and rest now.

Maybe after 1 hour got on the plane, it's the dinner time. Attendants gave everybody the menu first for advising what they will provide and what is your options.

There were only few lines of words and not that many choices on appetizer, entree and dessert. The attendants let the business class guests take time reading it for 30 or so minutes.

When mommy is starving, finally attendants started to ask what the guests want for appetizer!

Mommy ordered "duck" meat for appetizer... Mommy likes duck meat, but it's not easy to get the duck meat in North Carolina, USA.

Mommy misses duck meat very much. When the dish comes, Mommy thought "Gosh, I will not be full by this small dish. There are only few bites of meat. I am starving....."

ps. Mommy didn't know this is just an Appetizer!

While mommy is enjoying her duck meat, the attendant came to ask her if she would like some red wine? Mommy of course said YES.

After took a sip of the wine, Mommy started to eat the duck meat. Because of mommy was really hungry. She finished the duck meat within few minutes. Ha~

10 minutes passed, the attendant came back to fill up the wine. And about 20 minutes later, the attendants started to take the dishes away from everybody's table.

Two glasses of wine was in mommy's stomach. Mommy started to feel dizzy. She thought if she can get drunk and fall asleep, then she won't feel any starving. Mommy regretted to upgrade to the business class. Although Economic class didn't have this kind of service, but at least you will feel full or comfortable after you ate. ps. Mommy still didn't know there will be entree and dessert soon.

It's about 10 minutes later. The Attendant came again for asking what mommy wants for entree. Now, mommy finally understand this kind "procedure".

Mommy started to look forward to having the entree and dessert from that moment.....While waiting for the entree, mommy chose a movie "Quantum of Solace" to see...

Here is the entree…Italian Mushroom Saute….and wine again!!

30 or so minutes passed, attendants started to clean everybody's table again. Now, mommy was kind of drunk because of three glasses of wine! Ha~

Mommy thought it will take a long time for them to deliver the dessert. So she paused the movie and went to check on Daddy.

Daddy was so happy about he has his own TV for movies in economic class. Lufthansa Airline's economic is different to the other airlines. Lufthansa Air Economic also provide the small TV for every guest. You can choose the movie by yourself. That's great, isn't it?

Except the seats are not big in economic and the meals are not the same. The rest of the services are not much different between the business and the economic.

After checked on Daddy, mommy went back to her seat to finish the James Bond movie. It's about 20 minute later. The attendant came again to ask which kind of dessert mommy wants.

Oh~~ Dessert is part of the dinner. Ha~ Mommy thought the dessert is another small meal before the next big meal (Breakfast). Yah... Mommy is a moron! Ha~

Mommy ordered the cake and coffee as her dessert...

At this moment, Nina waked up and wanted to have some food, too. Mommy gave her the delicious cake.

ps. The style of European's meal is so slow... They would like you to enjoy every bite of the food... This dinner took about 2 hours to finish everything..

After finished the dessert, the movie was also finished. And Mommy's stomach was not full again! Ha~

Flying Business class is not a often thing for mommy. Mommy didn't want to waste the time to sleep. So mommy picked another movie "Mall Cop" to see. Well.. This movie is a funny movie. So ... there is not a attractive story in it. The funny part does not make sense. Mommy cancelled this movie after about 20 minutes.

Then, mommy chose another movie "Twilight"… This movie is better than "Quantum of Solace". The second movie of Twiligh series will be on in Nov., 2009. Mommy is looking forward to seeing it.

After finished the movie Twilight, mommy started to have a headache. Mommy didn't sleep well in those days. She was busy at packing for the Germany trip, then she didn't take any rest after got on the airplane yet. Mommy's body tried to give her the headache warning.

Mommy took a small nap, then waked up in a noisy environment. Because the attendants started to deliver everybody's breakfast.

There is only one option for breakfast.…

It looks great, doesn't it?

There are three different cheeses on this tray.. Even mommy likes Cheese, but three different cheeses at once...It's too much for mommy's stomach. Few minutes later, mommy started to feel sick.

Fortunately, we arrived to Munich International Airport in about 1.5 hour or so. After got off the airplane and walked for a while, mommy started to feel better. Then, we stayed in the airport about 6 hours to wait for the next small plane to Bremen, Germany, our flight destination!

Lufthansa business class is good though, but mommy still likes the Northwest Air's business a little bit better.

Mommy is surfing on the internet again.

Hi.. I am Meimei.... It has been a long time we didn't post any article here.
Daddy went to Japan for about 6 weeks in 2008. Then, when he gets back to the states, we traveled back and forth between Rochester, NY and Corning, NY for a while.

Because the economic recession, Daddy's company laid off a bunch of people. That included Daddy, too.
Fortunately, Daddy got a new job in North Caroline in a month after he got laid off. Our Daddy is so good. ^^ Then, we moved to North Carolina around 20th of Feb. to start our new life here.

The weather is very good. Daddy and Mommy seem to be very happy being in North Carolina. We just got out of the hotel and moved to a rental house. Daddy and Mommy tried to settle everything for us. We love our Daddy and Mommy.

In these days, Mommy is trying to surfing online to find a house. When Mommy is doing that, Nicole will go to mommy to get her attention. Mommy usually will put Nicole on her lap. Then, Nicole will put her head on the desk trying to see what Mommy is doing?~!
If Mommy doesn't pay attention to her still, Nicole will fall asleep by this way. Ha Ha.....

Nina got trimmed her hair today.

Nina's hair got long very quickly. The fuzzy hair made her look like a crazy dog.

The fuzzy hair and Nina's Oestrus.... makes Nina's hair looks dirty. It drives mommy crazy!

Mommy could not stand it anymore today!

She wore the mask and took the trimmer starting trimming Nina!

Mommy looks very professional~Ha~

Using the trimmer to trim the hair to the length you want.

Then, trim it with the scissors carefully.

After trimmed the body, trim the hair around the face and ears.

To cut the hair around the chin roundly~ Then, Nina will not look like a WHITE Schnauzer (Old man dog)!

Then, trimming the hair on the legs by scissors carefully. Using the trimmer to trim the hair on the belly.

The last process is trimming the hair on Nina's small butt!

Mommy has done it within one hour! Wow~

Is Nina a pretty?

To compare to the professional Pet Salon, Mommy has to practice more! But it's not bad, right?

(Hm....That means She will trim me and Nina more. )

After being so nervous during the trimming, Nina was exhausted. She was sleepy and trying to fell asleep!

After trimmed Nina, Mommy took some pictures of Nina. She is going to post those pictures on the blog.

When she is reviewing Nina's pictures, she felt the picture looks familiar with something~

Ha~ It looks like Hachi. (Nina's boy!)

Hi.....Everybody.......

We are Nicole and Nina.

We were born in 1999 in Taiwan.
We lived in Taiwan until Mar., 2008, then moved to the U.S.

Our Daddy is an American. We met him since we were 6 years old. 3 years passed, we kind of forced him to speak more Chinese. Ha~
We don't understand English much. Few months ago, we just know...."Kiss", "Sit", and "Come here". Mommy tried to teach us more English words. But when she really want us to listen to her, she speaks Chinese. It works better and faster for us!
We are trying to know more English. Now we know "Let's go".
When Daddy says it, we know either they are going out or we all are going out.
We will get ready and wait on them in front of the door.


Nicole is 2 months older. But Nina is the boss! Because of Nina's horoscope is Leo. Nicole's is Gemini. Leo always wants to be the Boss!
We are not related to each other. But we look like each other very much.
Mommy says that is because of we live together for over 9 years.
